Dr. Castillo's research focuses on interactions between mechanobiological cues and musculoskeletal systems, with consideration given at the molecular, cellular, and tissue levels.
Research Interests
musculoskeletal biomechanics, mechanobiology, regeneration, and stem cell biology, with work grounded in engineering tools and analyses, state-of-the-art cell and molecular biology, and translational medicine
